Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease with butter.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, mix mashed bananas, sugar, egg, and melted butter until well combined.

Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips.

Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling each about three-quarters full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow to cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely
