Easy and Delicious Taco Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Clean the peppers, cut them in half lengthwise, and remove the seeds.
Place the pepper halves in a microwave-safe dish, add ¼ cup of water, cover, and microwave for 7 to 10 minutes until the peppers become tender. Check periodically for doneness.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Add water and taco seasoning, following the directions on the package or recipe. Incorporate sour cream, salsa, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese into the cooked meat mixture.
Prepare a 13-by-9-inch baking dish with nonstick spray. Arrange the cooked peppers in the dish and generously fill them with the meat and cheese mixture. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
Bake at 350°F for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the peppers are thoroughly heated.
Serve with your preferred taco toppings and a side of salsa.
