Easy Turkish Bread Recipe

1. In a large bowl, mix the flour with yeast, sugar, and salt.
2. Gradually add the warm water and begin kneading. You may need to adjust the amount of water or flour to achieve a smooth, elastic dough.
3. Add the olive oil and knead until well combined with the dough.
4. Let the dough rest for an hour, covered, in a warm place until it doubles in size.
5. Once the dough has doubled, divide it into smaller balls.
6. Flatten the balls into oval or round shapes (similar to pizza) using your hands or a rolling pin.
7. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds or nigella seeds on the surface of the bread.
8. Transfer the shapes onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, lightly greased with olive oil.
9. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 15-20 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
