1 large egg beaten w/ 1 tbsp water
Sesame seeds

1. Mix milk, water, yeast, sugar and egg in a stand mixer with hook attachment 2. Add flour and mix until incorporated. Mix in salt and butter. Knead on med-low speed for 10 min or until dough becomes soft and tacky. If still too sticky, add up to 1/4 more flour
3. Transfer to oiled boil and let rise for 1-2 hours
4. Divide dough into 8 parts. Roll out into 8 balls and place on parchment lined sheet. Cover with clean towel and let rise for 1-1.5 hours
5. Preheat oven to 400deg. Brush tops lightly with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake buns for 15 min rotating halfway through.
