German-Inspired Apple and Cranberry Oatmeal

Prepare the baking pan:

Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil to prevent sticking. This will make it easier to remove the cooked oats once they are done.
Prepare the apples:

Cut the apples into thin slices or bite-sized pieces.

Mix the wet ingredients:

In a large bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs and vanillin (or vanilla extract).
Mash the banana and add to the egg mixture. Stir well to combine.

Add the oats, dried cranberries, and slivered almonds to the wet ingredients.
Stir until well combined.
Add the apples and cook:

Gently fold in the apple slices, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the oat mixture.
Pour the entire mixture into the greased baking dish.
Cooking:

Bake the oatmeal in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
