1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Gradually add the milk, stirring until a soft dough forms.
5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently 3-4 times.
6. Roll out the dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
7. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out rounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
8. Gather any remaining dough, reroll, and cut out additional biscuits.
