Cook the Rice:
Rinse 1/2 cup of rice to remove impurities. Boil the rice in water until it becomes soft and fully cooked.
Drain the rice, but save the water. This rice water contains vitamins and minerals that are excellent for the skin and can be used as a toner or part of the mask.
Mash the Rice:
Mash the cooked rice into a smooth paste. You can also use a blender for a finer texture.
Mix the Ingredients:
Add 2 tablespoons of raw milk to the mashed rice. Milk contains lactic acid, which exfoliates dead skin cells, brightening the skin tone and evening out pigmentation.
Add 1 tablespoon of honey to the mixture. Honey is a natural humectant, helping the skin retain moisture, and has antibacterial properties that promote clear skin.
Optional: Add Rice Water:
For an added boost, you can mix in 1 tablespoon of rice water into the mask. Rice water is known to reduce pore size, tighten skin, and improve the complexion.
Apply the Mask:
Cleanse your face with warm water to open your pores. Apply the rice mask evenly across your face and neck.
Leave the mask on for 20-30 minutes or until it dries completely.
Rinse Off:
Rinse the mask off with lukewarm water, gently massaging your skin in circular motions to exfoliate.
Finish by splashing your face with cool water to close the pores.
Moisturize:
