8 oz fettuccine or any pasta of your choice
1 tablespoon butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Pasta:
Boil your pasta in salted water as per the package directions, drain, and set aside for later.
Season the Steak:
In a small bowl, combine Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Pat your steaks dry, then generously coat both sides with the spice mix.
Cook the Steak:
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add the steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness). Once done, remove from heat, cover with foil, and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until aromatic. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer gently. Gradually add in the grated Parmesan, whisking until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine the Pasta and Sauce:
Toss the drained pasta into the creamy Alfredo sauce, ensuring all the noodles are well coated.
Serve:
Slice the rested Cajun steak into strips. Plate the pasta and top it with the steak. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy!
