When you open the vegetable drawer or look down at the bottom of the refrigerator, you’ll notice a small, discreet hole. This hole isn’t just a design detail: it’s actually a condensation drain. Appliance expert Lydia Mammar explains: “This hole allows the water produced by condensation to drain away, including droplets that could harm the food and the proper functioning of the refrigerator.”
