Prepare the pastry balls:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and cut into 9 equal squares.
Place about a teaspoon of chopped berries in the center of each square. Be careful not to overfill.
Fold each corner of the pastry square towards the middle, pressing the edges together to seal. Gently roll in your hands to form a ball.
Place the pastry balls on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake the pastry balls:
Bake the pastry balls in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
