When to Apply DIY Garlic Insect Spray
Start using the spray as soon as you notice common signs of pest infestations, such as holes in leaves, yellowing, or visible insects like aphids, caterpillars, or spider mites.

But don’t worry – these pests are no match for garlic. Garlic contains sulfur compounds that disrupt the pests’ nervous systems and repel them.

4-5 cloves of fresh garlic
1 quart (4 cups) of water
1 teaspoon of liquid soap (mild or biodegradable)
Optional: 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of vinegar
