Ingredients
Fresh Ginger Root: 1 large piece (about 100 grams), peeled and sliced
Lemon: 2 large, organic, thoroughly washed
Honey: 2 tablespoons (optional, for added antibacterial properties and sweetness)
Water: 4 cups
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
Slice the Ginger: Peel the ginger root and slice it into thin strips. This increases the surface area, allowing more of its active compounds to infuse into the water.
Cut the Lemons: Slice the lemons into rounds. You can squeeze some of the slices to release the juice, and leave others whole for a milder lemon flavor.
