🍴 Step-by-Step Instructions:
1️⃣ Make the Tart Crust:
In a food processor, combine the flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
Add the cold butter and pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add the egg yolk and pulse until the dough starts to come together.
Slowly add ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the dough forms a ball.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
2️⃣ Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
3️⃣ Roll and Bake the Crust:
Roll the chilled dough on a lightly floured surface to fit a 9-inch tart pan.
Press the dough into the tart pan and trim any excess around the edges.
Line the crust with parchment paper and fill with pie weights or dried beans to prevent it from puffing up.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, then remove the parchment paper and weights, and bake for another 5-7 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.
Let it cool completely on a wire rack.
